The Lost Gospels
Aired: March 15, 2008 on BBC 2 Shocking and challenging to Christianity today, these were works in which Jesus didn't die, took revenge on his enemies and kissed Mary Magdalene on the mouth. These were the Gospels that were circulated in the ancient world and taken as seriously as today's Christians take the books of the Bible which was voted on by the Church elders. Christians for the most part have no idea how their religion originated, who shaped it and who controlled it. If Christians had their mind open as most of them claim they do, they'd be able to comprehend that their faith is nothing but faith and believing the Bible is infallible word of god is a rather tricky proposition. Believing the Bible is kind of like basing your life on a "Spideman" comic in our opinion. "It's not a
lie if you believe it" - George Castanza, "Seinfeld"
