Fantastic similarities and copying of portions of Mark and Matthew in New Testament from original stories Old Testament in Part 1 - Mark 4:35-39 and Jonah 1:4-6, 15-16. It's analyzed according to accessibility, density, sequence and unique wording. 11 details that match in Part 1 precisely and in exactly the same order.

Part 2 deals with the Feeding of 5,000 and the same criteria are used. Matthew 14:15-21 and 2nd Kings 4:42-44 are compared.

Matthew's purpose was to depict Jesus as greater than the OT prophets (Matt 12:41, 12:42), greater than the temple (Matt 12:3) and greater than Mark's Jesus (fig tree, healing the blind, lack of miracles in his hometown, etc., etc.).

By believing that Jesus existed and the gospels are historical, you are forced to go through all sorts of mental gymnastics to try and defend you beliefs. Christianity is manmade. Once you see that, all the pieces fall into place.

Also, for homework analyze Luke 7:11-16 and 1st Kings 17:7-24 and also Mark 15:34 and Psalms 22:11 according to the same factors - accessibility, density, sequence and unique wording and line them up one by one.
